Welcome to RetrotapsNC.com (“Website”). By accessing or using this site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Overview

RetrotapsNC.com is owned and operated by Retrotaps, a North Carolina-based draft beer service and creative custom dispensing company. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers (“You,” “Your”) of the Website.


2. Services Offered

Retrotaps provides professional draft line cleaning, maintenance, and installation services, along with custom-designed dispensers and accessories. All services and products are subject to availability and confirmation.


3. Payment & Invoicing

Payments for services and products are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Retrotaps accepts major credit cards, ACH transfers, and approved third-party platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Fintech).


Failure to pay may result in service suspension or late fees. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Custom tap handles and commissioned work are non-refundable once production begins.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, photos, videos, and custom designs on this site are the property of Retrotaps unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.


6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to all equipment and service areas.
     
  • Notify Retrotaps of any system issues prior to scheduled service.
     
  • Use equipment responsibly following service or installation.
     

Retrotaps is not liable for misuse or third-party alterations to serviced systems.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retrotaps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this Website or our services. All work is performed to industry standards, but specific results may vary based on environmental and technical factors.


8. Privacy

Your privacy matters. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except to complete services or comply with legal obligations. Read our [Privacy Policy] for full details.


9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

Return and Refund Policy

Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your custom gear and be 100% satisfied with our draft service. That said, most of what we create is made-to-order — meaning returns and exchanges work a little differently here at Retrotaps.


Custom Products

Because our tap handles, draft towers, and branded accessories are often custom-built or personalized, all custom product sales are final.


We do not accept returns or offer refunds on items that were made specifically for you unless:

  • The product arrived damaged during shipping, or
     
  • There was an error on our end in fulfilling your order (wrong item, wrong design, etc.)
     

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us at rick@retrotapsnc.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item. We’ll do everything we can to make it right.


Standard Products & Accessories

For non-custom items like draft parts, cleaning accessories, or stock tap handles:


  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
     
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.
     
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
     

Refunds will be issued once the item is received and inspected. A small restocking fee may apply.


Exchanges

We do not offer traditional exchanges due to the custom nature of most products. However, if you received the wrong item or need a size/fit adjustment on a standard product, reach out — we’ll work with you to find a solution.


Service Work Disputes

If you're not satisfied with a recent line cleaning, installation, or repair service, please contact us immediately. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality draft beverage experience possible, and we stand behind our work.
